200 minutes

Aaaaah. Long time no unimovies. Good to get back. Team America was on first. I found most of it entertaining, and heaps of it funny. But I think that 99 minutes of South Park esque humour gets a bit much... for me anyway. I was afraid that Shaun of the Dead might have been too talked-up for me. (Alice & Shaggy were both giving it a big thumbs up.) So I really tried to go in not expecting too much -- difficult, when I could remember Alice's huge grin when the name of the movie came up. Anyway... I thought it was awesome, once it got going. Abundant death, fun modes of death, plenty of blood, not too much schlock in the relationships part of the plot, cool characters. Yeah.

I'm starting to get this weird feeling in my head (and sometimes in my gut) that I think stems from leaving thesis thoughts on the shelf... Eugh :O The weather's been nice. The to-read books are numerous. There are musical instruments to attempt to get good at... Meh. Some time in the next few weeks I'm going to have to take a few full days out to learn how to program the bot I'll be using this year for the whole thesis thang. Someone hold me to it. Discipline eludes.
