This morning I felt like Amelie did after she helped the blind man to "see" stuff all over the town. All light and free like. After dropping mum & dad at the train station I came here to uni. It's nice & cool outside and even the bugs crawling on the ground looked shiny & nice :p I met a friendly black & white cat in someone's front lawn on the way here, and then there were birds swooping down & flying in front of me, cartoon stylin's.

I need more sleep. But I think there was a big weight lifted off me yesterday when I stayed back in the lab to finish some work. Things went well & I got some good solid results for my report. Before the decent results happened, I'd been tempted to leave when some more issues came up - but now I'm glad I just stayed until it was sorted.
