My Room is a Mess

Today I'll post my acceptance forms to the JET people. Dave thinks it's funny that my first move out of home will be to live overseas. I'm glad it's to a country I've visited a couple of times. But the non-English-speaking part is a little unnerving. I guess the battle might be fun in a tedious kind of way :-/

I told Pakman that I think Fasten the Deed should take this opportunity to recruit a trained singer! Then they could dominate the Wollongong music scene and, eventually, take over the world.

Yesterday arvo I went op-shopping with Jacinta and found 2 cool jackets for the total price of $15.50. She found a wonderfully pretty skirt! XD

And when I arrived home, there was a letter from the Japan Consulate saying that I've been offered a job teaching English to high school kids in Japan for a year. I'd been waiting so long just to find out, and I was getting weary from waiting. But when I read the letter, I just felt strange. It's going to be an exciting adventure, methinks. But I will certainly miss many things about being here.
