Disturbing Dreams

In the first one Sal and I were driving down a foresty mountain road. Maybe like Macquarie Pass or the top of Mt Keira Road. I was driving, and we were following one other car. It felt weird because I was watching both cars from above. An aerial view. I was driving way too fast, and was only just making the turns. Like in Daytona, except that I was scared. Then the car in front of us had an accident. We were standing around the girl who'd been driving. She was lying there dead. We couldn't do anything.

The other dream that I remember involved some kind of huge creature that was going through the town destroying everything, killing people and eating people. Everyone was fleeing, and a lot of people were finding places to hide. But this was really something that you couldn't hide from. I was with a group who just kept trying to get further away, in the hope that by the time the creature reached the place we were, it wouldn't have the strength to kill us. I had my red backpack with me, but I don't know what was in it. We came across some friends of ours who'd decided to hide in some kind of garage, but we convinced them they should keep going because that shelter wasn't strong enough to protect them. I found out that one of my friends from school had died (probably in one of the attacks, I guess) and I lost it. It felt disturbingly real. I was worried for all her friends and family, and felt terrible.

I was so exhausted when i woke up, and had to lie there recovering for a while.
